Year 4

Dear Parents and Guardians,

A big congratulations to all our 4A and 4B students for successfully completing the 2020 academic year!

It was a great pleasure to have such a bright bunch of learners in our classroom. Each and every one of our students have worked so hard and made great progress throughout the year. We would like to thank each child for all the warmth, the memories, and the learning that we have shared together. We would also like to thank parents for their ongoing support during the year and especially during remote learning.

This term, we have created many enjoyable memories in our classroom. One of the main highlights was our STEM program. In 4A, students got into small groups to build and construct a kit that involved sound, movement and animation. Students had a lot of fun putting these kits together from scratch and watching their kits come to life.

In 4B, students worked on The Piper Computer Kit. It was an amazing STEM project for our students. Children worked in groups and built their computers from beginning to the end. Students have solved puzzles in Rasberry Pi edition of Minecraft and continued to build power-ups in the game through physical controls, switches, buttons and lights. At the beginning of the program, it was very overwhelming for our students, but they never gave up! They worked in groups and supported each other. Once they connected their computers, students played games on Minecraft.

We would like to wish all our students and families a very safe, restful and wonderful summer holiday. All the best in Year 5!

Kind Regards,
Mrs Kundakci & Mrs Yildirim
